Knowing it had two different ends
We stood near the axis, for years . . .
Arguing . . . I chose a different path
I’m sorry . . . I truly hope
You’re not still seeking short cuts,
Back then you were convinced
It was the only way . . .
That would lead us to happiness
I hope by now you’ve realized
That beauty was false . . .
Shimmering like a promise
We were the rainbow
Attempting to sell our souls
For leprechaun love
The Rainbows End . . .
